Prima Frutta Sweetened Chestnut Puree (Crème de Marron)
A smooth, sweetened chestnut puree — the Italian crème de marron — from Menz & Gasser's premium Prima Frutta line. Made with real chestnuts and a touch of vanilla, it has the soft, dense, caramel-brown character that makes chestnut cream a classic autumn and dessert spread.
Soft, dense and velvety, with a gentle nutty-sweet chestnut flavour and a warm vanilla note. Mellow and comforting rather than sharp.
Spread on warm toast, brioche or crepes; fold into whipped cream or mascarpone for a quick Mont Blanc-style dessert; swirl into yoghurt or porridge; layer into cakes and tarts; spoon over vanilla ice cream.

Menz & Gasser
Menz & Gasser was founded in 1935 when the Gasser family took over a small fruit-processing works in Lana, in Italy's Alpine South Tyrol, starting with apple compotes before growing into jams, syrups and preserves. The business moved to Novaledo in Trentino in 1974 and, over more than eighty years, became Italy's leading jam maker and one of Europe's largest producers, while staying rooted in the fruit-growing traditions of the Trentino-Alto Adige region. The 'Prima Frutta' line is its premium range, made with high-quality fruit.
